I got their hungry man’s breakfast which gave me a good display of their hog meat. The ham was a thick slice of real (not pressed) ham, but the bacon and sausage were disappointing. They both tasted like grill, not meat. The Smith’s kielbasa wasn’t garlicky at all, and Leif said it tasted like pepperoni.
The sausages were the awful breakfast links I’m getting tired of eating, and their coffee passed the Campsie test, which is not a grade you want to get.
At least the potatoes were good. They were HUGE chunks of real potato, grilled beautifully. On the menu, they made a big deal of their eggs being Omega-3, and the bright-orange yolk on my plate told the tale of fatty acids.
There didn’t seem to be a lot of golfers eating, though absolutely none of the clientele showed any fashion taste, so I may be wrong.
Parry’s is almost at the Perimeter highway on Main, between the graveyards. Their new menu looks great, and the breakfast pizza is something you definitely have to try, but their Special is kind of lowly. I’m curious about the lox.

We happened to go to Parry’s on the day they revealed their new menu, so this review is nice and timely. They added lots of fancy-shmancy items like a lox and asparagus omelette and a curious and counter intuitive breakfast pizza!
They also added a Ukranian breakfast, which predictably comes with perogies and kielbasa. I saw our neighbor’s breakfast sandwich, and it looked pretty good! More like an omelette in-between toast rather than a McMuffin.
Before I describe their Special, I must emphasize the goodness of the breakfast pizza! One breakfaster at our table got the first one they ever served! The cook (Parry himself) came out and anxiously asked how we liked it. It was delicious! It was a flat tortilla with thick layers of delicious salsa that made a bed for a thin, crepe like omelette with plenty of cheese melted on top. A winner!
The first ever breakfast pizza!
