We dined with Leif Larsen, Editor-in-Chief of The Manitoban (hereafter referred to as “the other Leif”). He wanted us to review the breakfasts on the UofM campus, and we were glad to help out. We were long overdue for a visit anyways. Yes, Leif and I are both partial to the U of W (and The Uniter), but that doesn’t mean we don’t like visiting.
As the other Leif recorded our personalities, or lack thereof on his iPad, we found out that the immaculately written chalk-board menu was accomplished with the use of a projector. No Free Hand Michelangelo! We never realized! There must be just one person who does that for restaurants around the city… are you that person? Contact us! You are slightly interesting!
While eating we were told that Aramark was taking over the U of M food services. Say it isn’t so! Food production companies like Aramark and Chartwells serve the cheapest food, the fastest way they can. Disgusting! Stultifying! We jumped for joy when Diversity Foods took over for Chartwells at the U of W last year. We will be reviewing Degrees soon, and we hope they can take the brunt of the Aramark bruise and keep providing an alternative.
In conclusion – Edna Fedya will feed ya real good. Just don’t ask for Edna’s autograph.
