What else can I say about an average breakfast in an average restaurant? It was cheap, so that was good. The owner claimed it was always busy, except for right when we were there. That might take some verifying.

Cheers is another Greek-owned restaurant serving standard Canadian fare. It’s been Cheers for ten years, and for 13 before that it was under a variety of names. What sets this place apart from other Greek places is they abstained from hanging the same Greece tourism photos found everywhere (Like Pete’s Place and the Park Tower). Also they have cool stained glass light shades. Cheers’ wall decorations consisted of what I called Greek glyphs. The booths are made for small people, and I fit snugly.
Their breakfast was inoffensive but good looking. Pretty standard fare: four pieces of bacon, soft but bland shredded potatoes, typical rye toast and good eggs that came from a clean grill. They only had Louisiana hot sauce to flavour things up. The coffee was passable. From the underground lake for sure, but from the middle range of strength.
